Take a local train or car to northern Bangladesh, where you’ll board a boat on the Brahmaputra River. Meet the crew and enjoy the river views as you start your journey. Meals and overnight on the boat.

Spend the day sailing along the Brahmaputra, experiencing the scenic river life. Overnight on the boat.

Visit Island villages (chars) to see rural life up close—meet farmers, fishermen, and villagers. Enjoy fresh meals prepared on the boat. Overnight on the boat.

Disembark and drive to Dinajpur. Visit the magnificent Kantajee Temple, the best example of terracotta architecture in Bangladesh, and explore the surrounding villages. Overnight in Dinajpur.

Travel to Rangpur to meet the Adivashi community and learn about their unique traditions and way of life. Spend the day exploring their villages, discovering their distinct language, culture, and traditional lifestyle. Experience their homes made of mud, bamboo, and dry grass. In the afternoon, enjoy the scenic beauty of the rice and crop fields. Overnight stay in a basic, eco-friendly homestay guest house.

Drive to Paharpur to visit the 1,200-year-old Buddhist Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch with a local family, continue to Bogura. Overnight in Bogura.

Visit the ancient city of Mahasthangarh to explore the ruins and archaeological museum. Continue to Rajshahi for an afternoon walk along the Padma River. Overnight in Rajshahi.

In the morning, visit the Borendra Museum, home to some of Bangladesh’s finest archaeological treasures (subject to opening hours). Later, explore a silk factory to witness the production of Bangladesh’s renowned silk. After lunch, take a trip to Puthia, famed for its temple complex, including the largest Shiva Temple in Bangladesh. Return to Rajshahi. Overnight stay in Rajshahi.

Travel to Kushtia, home to famous Baul music, and visit the shrine of a renowned Baul composer. Continue to Majbari village to experience the local market. Overnight in a basic village homestay.

Today, you’ll immerse yourself in the unforgettable rural life of Bangladesh. Visit an artisan village where bamboo craftsmen create various baskets and household items. Explore a traditional handloom village where traditional dresses are woven for the locals. Discover blacksmith shops crafting tools for agriculture and household use. After breakfast, drive to Barishal. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. In the afternoon, explore Barishal town and the bustling river port, where large boats prepare for their journey to Dhaka. Overnight stay in Barishal.

Drive to Dhaka, crossing the 6.2 km Padma Bridge, Bangladesh’s longest bridge. Arrive in Dhaka and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Dhaka.

Explore Old Dhaka with a walking tour through its bustling streets. Visit the Star Mosque, Armenian Church, Sadarghat River Terminal, and the historic Shankhari Bazar. This tour will give you a rich cultural insight into Dhaka’s history and heritage. Overnight stay in Dhaka.

Drive to Dhamrai to see traditional metal and brass craftsmanship using ancient lost wax techniques. Afterwards, head to the National Martyrs’ Memorial in Savar, a tribute to those who lost their lives in the 1971 Liberation War. If time allows, stop at AARONG, a popular handicraft store, for some souvenir shopping. Overnight stay in Dhaka.

After breakfast, transfer to Dhaka Airport for your departure flight. Tour ends.
